All Shook Up: Tribute to the King, the only all-Elvis show on the Las Vegas Strip, celebrated its milestone 1,000th performance on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, complete with a cast and production party, ever-flowing champagne and an enthusiastic packed house.
Opened on January 20, 2014, the 75-minute tribute show features music spanning three decades of Elvis’ iconic career as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Backed by a live band and an impressionist emcee, All Shook Up: Tribute to the King takes guests on an energetic musical journey through love, lust and patriotism; symbolic themes in the life of Elvis Presley.
“In a city where shows come and go, we’re truly honored to be celebrating this historic milestone,” said Kurt Brown, co-producer of All Shook Up. “Elvis made such an impact on so many people, and we’re looking forward to continuing his legacy every night here at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.”
All Shook Up: Tribute to the King, boasts more than 1,200 five-star reviews on Trip Advisor and is ranked #7 out of 242 shows to see in Las Vegas on the social review site. The show is also listed as #1 on Viator.com for “11 Sights and Tours Perfect for the Elvis Fan.” The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas named the show’s principal Elvis as ‘Best Impersonator’ in 2015, the same Elvis can be seen in the 2016 national State Farm Insurance commercial featuring Downtown Las Vegas.
All Shook Up: Tribute to the King performs seven nights a week at the V Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
