In celebration of their 40th anniversary in business, Boyd Gaming today announced it will be making a donation to Three Square Food Bank for each dinner buffet bought at six of their Vegas properties on Saturdays in August.
On August 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, Boyd Gaming will donate $1 to Three Square for each dinner bought at French Market Buffet at the Orleans, Ports O’Call Buffet at Gold Coast, St. Tropez Buffet at Suncoast, Firelight Buffet at Sam’s Town, Paradise Buffet at Fremont, and Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station.
“We are thrilled to be able to collaborate with Boyd Gaming to celebrate their 40th anniversary,” said Brian Burton, president and CEO of Three Square. “They have been cherished partners of ours since Three Square began in 2007, and their support has helped thousands of hungry people in Southern Nevada. This generous campaign will help raise even more funds to support the fight against hunger in our community.”
Three Square is Southern Nevada’s biggest food bank, serving citizens of Clark, Lincoln, Nye and Esmeralda counties. Using a network of roughly 1,300 community partners, Three Square provides food help to nearly 140,000 southern Nevadans every year.
Boyd Gaming is a major financial supporter of Three Square since its founding, and Marianne Boyd Johnson, Boyd Gaming’s Vice Chairman, Executive V.P. and Chief Diversity Officer, serves on Three Square’s Board of Directors.
“Giving back to our neighborhoods has been a central part of our culture since the day my father and grandfather founded our Company in 1975,” Johnson said. “We could think of no better way to celebrate Boyd Gaming’s 40th anniversary than to partner with our friends at Three Square in their pursuit of creating a hunger-free community in Southern Nevada.”
