Nevada?s biggest and most anticipated craft beer festival, Motley Brews? Great Vegas Festival of Beer (GVFB), returns for its sixth installment to the streets of Downtown Las Vegas on Saturday, April 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. with new brews, eats and entertainment for all festival goers to enjoy. Gates open for Early Entry and VIP ticket holders at 2 p.m.
?The Great Vegas Festival of Beer has transformed into a huge event that not only locals look forward to every spring, but an occasion that people travel across the country for,? said Brian Chapin, founder of Motley Brews. ?By bringing in new breweries, chefs and experiential elements, this festival is going to be nothing like our fans have experienced before.?
Thousands of ticket holders will line the streets of Downtown Las Vegas while sampling more than 400 craft brews from over 100 different local, national and international breweries. Craft beer enthusiasts can expect to see new breweries at this year?s GVFB, including PT?s Brewing Company, Lovelady Brewing, Coachella Valley Brewing Company and more. For updates on participating breweries, visit the GVFB website.
Craft beer won?t be the only thing headlining the festival. The Gastropub offers an extensive mouthwatering culinary experience where festival goers looking to taste local chefs? beer-inspired fare won?t have to travel far for delicious dishes prepared by Truck U Barbeque, Cousins Maine Lobster, Pot Liquor, Glutton, Sausagefest, Stripchezze and more. More information on participating restaurants will be made available in the coming weeks.
Different from years before, Motley Brews will curate an exciting lineup of pop-up entertainment to roam the festival grid, where guests can enjoy a variety of acts in every corner of the festival. The Human Arcade, presented by Zappos, allows festival goers to bring out their inner child and play classic party games such as cornhole, life-size checkers, beer pong and more. In addition, guests will dance the afternoon away at the Silent Disco and learn the in?s and out?s of craft beer with industry professionals during the redesigned BrewLogic sessions.
VIP ticket holders will enjoy an exclusive tasting of rare pours and specialty beers inside the Brewers Lounge while sampling an assortment of small bites prepared solely for them by some of Las Vegas? top culinary masterminds.
Contributing to the lively affair, Motley Brews has brought in a diverse group of new and returning sponsors, including Oasis at Gold Spike, Land Rover Las Vegas, Zappos, PKWY Tavern, Resqwater and the presenting sponsor, PT?s Brewing Company, set to open in Las Vegas later this month. Each sponsor will have their own unique activation at the festival, allowing ticket holders to drink, eat, listen, dance and play in new ways throughout the afternoon.
Tickets are now on sale and priced at $35 for General Admission, $45 for Early Entry and $80 for VIP until Sunday, Feb. 28. Doors open for Early Entry and VIP ticket holders at 2 p.m. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Goodie Two Shoes Foundation and Nevada Craft Brewers Association (NCBA).
