WHAT: Opportunity Village will celebrate the eleventh anniversary of the Las Vegas Great Santa Run Saturday, December 5 in Downtown Vegas beginning at 9 a.m. 1000’s of Santa lookalikes will join the cast of JERSEY BOYS Las Vegas, The Chippendales and many more Vegas artists to participate in the world?s biggest gathering of Santa-clad runners and walkers. The big event includes appearancess from Vegas legend Wayne Newton, a performance by ?America?s Best Dance Crew? winners Jabbawockeez and lots of other surprises. Featuring a 5k run and one-mile walk, this cherished race raises funds for the incredible ?OVIPs? that Opportunity Village serves.
Following the event, Fremont Street Experience encourages all individuals brave enough to fly on SlotZilla, Downtown Las Vegas? enormous zipline attraction. For each person who rides SlotZilla from 10 a.m. to five p.m. the day of the run, 100 % of all of the revenue benefits Opportunity Village.

? 8:40 a.m. ? Wayne Newton greets the racers; introduces the OV Elvi performance

10 a.m. 5K runners take off upon JERSEY BOYS? signal at Jamba Juice Start Line stage
? 10 a.m. The Chippendales lead procession of Kris Kringle Jingle walkers to starting line at Las Vegas Boulevard and Carson
? 10:30 a.m. One-mile Kris Kringle Jingle walk begins upon Chippendale?s signal at Jamba Juice Start Line stage
