On Thursday, October 15, Michelin-decorated chef Alain Ducasse celebrated the debut of his newest gems on the 64th floor of Delano Las Vegas, Rivea and Skyfall Lounge.
Mandalay Bay Leader and COO Chuck Bowling, Delano Vegas GM Matthew Chilton and Chef Ducasse began the occasion having a champagne toast in Rivea?s scenic private dining area. In the middle of the experience, Chef Ducasse mingled with visitors at Skyfall Lounge, who have been treated to delectable small bites in the restaurant?s Riviera-inspired menu. Executive Chef Bruno Riou orchestrated your kitchen, serving tastes of Rivea?s signature small plates including Pizzettas, Marinated Seabream, Roasted Panisse, Vitello Tonnato and much more. As a nightcap, Chef Riou delighted visitors with an array of mouth-watering desserts, including Rivea?s Limoncello Baba and Tiramisu.
Showcasing their new cocktail program designed particularly for Rivea and Skyfall Lounge, Proprietors LLC partners David Kaplan, Alex Day and Devon Tarby introduced Vegas to another evolution of cocktails, having a strawberry and jalape?o-infused tequila concoction known as Shake It Off, a bourbon and rum Kentucky Colada, and many other signature libations. Furthermore, the Martini Education Bar offered five variations – dry, wet, Gibson, dirty and Fleming.
All the way from St. Tropez, DJ Jack-E set the tone with upbeat electronic music as visitors enjoyed sights of the spectacular Vegas skyline from Skyfall Lounge?s floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking patio.
