Hump Day Hot Dogs And ‘Rock Out With Your Guac Out’ Eating Challenge At Rockhouse Las Vegas

Rockhouse Las Vegas, situated within the Grand Canal Shoppes in the Venetian|The Palazzo, is inviting Vegas to select – go large, or go small – with new inclusions in its menu of classic American bar fare. Here comes the Rock Out With Your Guac Out four-and-a-half-pound Challenge and Hump Day Hot Dogs.

Las Vegas’ favorite Strip-side dive bar has come up with a monumental eating challenge to tempt just the most daring diners with what is going to be referred to as “Rock Out With Your Guac Out” burrito challenge. The price to sign up is $45, but there’s no honest method to place a cost on boasting privileges any brave soul who completes the task, downing the burrito in twenty minutes or fewer, will go out totally free and filled with pride (and burrito). Possibly more to the point, champions of the challenge will earn $50 in Rockhouse dollars, $25 to each of Rockhouse’s sister joints PBR Rock Bar & Grill and Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar, along with a free Rockhouse T-shirt.

This isn’t your abuelo’s burrito. The concoction of melted, Mexican goodness, coming in at an astonishing four-and-a-half pounds, features carne asada steak, pico de gallo, saut?ed onion, green chilis, cheddar cheese, french fries and lettuce, swaddled inside a blanket of three 12-inch flour tortillas, all capped with sour cream and – you suspected it – guacamole.

“People are absolutely going to love this, whether they’re sitting and participating, or standing and anticipating,” said Rockhouse General Manager Avi Kopelman. “It doesn’t feel too daunting, sitting down with it ? people come in with all kinds of confidence. But after a few bites, this stuff starts sitting heavy; it’s a challenge!”

Additionally towards the Burrito Challenge, Rockhouse has also added a Wednesday evening special menu of “Hump Day Hot Dogs.” The wide range of new tastes of small hotdogs can be found a la carte, but visitors are urged to buy a flight of three for variety.
