The holidays can be a busy time of year. Between big, festive meals, wish lists and the extra traveling, holiday spending adds up quickly. Most of us are in need of a vacation before and after the chaos! Good news: MGM Resorts has your pre-holiday vacation covered. Here’s how to be living on a budget without compromising your all-encompassing Vegas escape or your holiday expenses.
>> Happy hours in Vegas come in many forms. Coyote Ugly at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, which recently celebrated its 21st birthday, offers a daily “happy hour” with drink specials from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Over at The Pub at Monte Carlo, happy hour takes place from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday and features $3 off all draft beers and $3 – $6 food and drink specials. For that late-night craving, a slice of pizza cooked at 550 degrees Fahrenheit paired with a 50-cent beer may do the trick. Five50 Pizza Bar at ARIA keeps its slice counter open late until 2 a.m. and the restaurant also offers select six-ounce draft beers for only 50 cents from 5 p.m. – 5:50 p.m.
>> To complete your pre-holiday Vegas escape, stop by the Fountains of Bellagio – one of the world’s most iconic attractions. Renowned DJ/Producer Ti?sto recently introduced a brand new medley of three tracks off his new album, “A Town Called Paradise.” Tiesto’s tunes, along with music from other legends such as Frank Sinatra and The Beatles, rotate Monday-Friday beginning at 3 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday starting 12 p.m.
