Vegas Indoor Skydiving celebrated its 35th anniversary in Las Vegas, and the 35th anniversary of indoor skydiving in America as a whole, with Tunnel Jam 2016, its inaugural flight competition in benefit of Three Square Food Bank. The competition, which featured two divisions, 11 competitors and more than $5,000 in prizes, helped raise more than 1,136 pounds of food, which equates to 947 meals for families in need.
?Tunnel Jam 2016 was a success on so many levels and we can’t thank everyone enough for being involved with us on this,? said Dave McMahan, Business Development at Vegas Indoor Skydiving. ?We look forward to hosting Tunnel Jam 2017 and feeding even more hungry families across the Las Vegas valley, while putting on one of the most unique competitions this town has ever seen!?
Featuring a guest judge panel of Chris Kael, bassist from Las Vegas? own heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch and former Vegas Indoor Skydiving flight instructor, BMX pro and reality television star Ricardo Laguna, legendary flight instructor Ray Kubiak and original Vegas Indoor Skydiving instructor Jimmy Redman, winners included Rob Grills (Best Routine – Pro Division), Levi Bunnell (Best Trick – Pro Division) and Zack Russell (Best Routine – Amateur Division).
