Over the past five years, one star of The Strip has delighted more than 1M inebriated guests with 2,500 lap dance competitions. The one-of-a-kind show, ABSINTHE, will celebrate an against-all-odds fifth anniversary Thursday, March 31 at 8 p.m.
?Five years in Vegas,? said ABSINTHE producer and emcee, The Gazillionaire. ?Really? Feels like f%#^ing 20. Feels like we have been here since Robin Leach was drinking real champagne and filming ?Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous.? Please stop coming to the show and giving us all these stupid awards. Yeah, sure? Best Show in Vegas. Compared to what? Vegas Nocturne? Thanks a lot, Vegas!?
Prior to the 8 p.m. show on March 31, guests are invited to join Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner at the Caesars Fountains as he proposes a toast to the cast of ABSINTHE and Gazillionaire himself (if he bothers to show up).
Voted ?Best Show? by several outlets, including the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Weekly, and Vegas SEVEN, ABSINTHE has survived despite The Gazillionaire continually cutting the production?s budget to pay off debts. ABSINTHE has been hailed as ?refreshingly raw? by UK Daily Star and dubbed ?love at first sight? by Vegas Tripping.
ABSINTHE?s celebrity freeloader base has continued to grow exponentially since its inception in Spring 2011. Recent audience members have included DJ and producer Steve Aoki, actress Melissa McCarthy, Las Vegas headliner Pitbull, Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler, actors Channing Tatum and Christopher Lloyd, and many others.
